Trust Accountant in

TRUST ACCOUNTANT: CITY OF MONASH

This Real Estate office is on the road to expansion and looking for superstars to join this dynamic team.

Due to growth, this opportunity is for an experienced Trust Accountant to manage the rental and sales trust accounting.

Reporting to the CFO and Director, you will be responsible for the following:

Managing trust accounting for property sales and settlement;
Payroll and commission calculation and processing;
Invoice management and processing;
Bank reconciliation;
Accounts Payable function;
Regular weekly and monthly management and financial reporting;
Prepare documentation for annual audits for commercial and residential trust accounts;
Liaise with Property Management and Sales team to ensure clear communication and
smooth operations;
Ad-hoc accounts related duties.

What do we require:
Financial and Trust accounting experience, preferable with a minimum 3 years’ experience in
the property industry;
A degree in accounting or significant experience in a Real Estate agency with both rentals and sales trust,
Experience with various software , eg, Agentbox, PropertyTree, Xero, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
Ability to constantly review and improve processes
Work independently
Strong communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Bookkeeping or Accounting qualification
Strong time management and planning skills
